Refund Policy
graduand — Moayo Inc. (주식회사 모아요)
The official version of this document is the Korean version. If this translation and the Korean version differ in interpretation, the Korean version prevails.
This policy states the conditions for refunds of paid graduand subscriptions and the channel for them. The refund conditions are declared to customers by the Company (Moayo Inc.) in its own name — even though execution passes through the Seller's (Polar's) path, it is the Company that owes these conditions. The Terms of Service, Article 4 (Billing), Article 5 (Quantity changes) and Article 7 (Cancellation), state the same content as provisions; if the two diverge, that is a bug.
1. Scope
This policy applies to paid subscriptions of customers that are corporations or business entities (Terms, Article 2). The free scope (the diagnosis) involves no payment, so there is no place for a refund to arise.
2. Yearly subscriptions
If you request it within 14 days of the payment date, we refund the whole payment — no questions asked about the reason. Because the whole payment is returned, the subscription also ends at that point — there is no next renewal, and the paid scope closes as described in section 7.
After the 14 days have passed, we do not prorate and refund the remaining period; cancellation stops the next renewal — the paid scope remains available until the end of the period already paid for (Terms, Article 7).
3. Monthly subscriptions
We state honestly that monthly subscriptions carry no separate refund window — we do not prorate and refund the remaining part of an already-paid month. If you cancel, the next renewal is stopped, and the paid scope remains available until the end of the month already paid for.
4. A quantity reduction is not a refund
Reducing the subscription quantity (the number of repositories) is a change to the subscription, not a refund. The settlement for the reduction is not processed as an immediate return; it is reflected in the next regular invoice (Terms, Article 5).
5. The more favorable rule wins
The conditions above are the minimum the Company promises. Where the Seller's refund policy or applicable law is more favorable to the customer than this policy, that applies instead. This policy is not to be read as reducing or waiving any right that applicable law guarantees to the customer.
6. Where you change the subscription
This section is the canonical home of the channel for cancellation and refund requests — the Terms state only the conditions and name no channel.
- Cancelling the subscription — you can cancel in the Seller's customer portal. The portal is the same surface the subscription came from — you enter it through the link in the email you receive after completing checkout (receipt and subscription notice). The conditions and effect of cancellation are as in the Terms, Article 7.
- Requesting a refund — if you make a request to the Company, the Company decides under the conditions of this policy, and execution follows the Seller's path. Please include the email address used for the payment and the payment date. The request channel (an email address) will be stated in this section on the day the domain is settled — until then, paid checkout is not open, so while the channel is empty there is also no payment to refund.
- Changing quantity — handled by request to the Company (Terms, Article 5).
The Company does not hold your payment method details — which is why a refund is never paid out by the Company directly and always passes through the Seller's path. The route by which a refunded amount returns, and how long it takes, are determined by the Seller and the issuer of your payment method.
7. The cancellation policy, and how to find the means to cancel
The subscription renews every billing cycle (monthly or yearly) until it is cancelled. The conditions of cancellation are in the Terms, Article 7; the channel for cancellation is in Section 6 of this policy; and the same channel is pointed to in the email you receive after completing checkout.
Once a refund is applied, the paid scope bought by that payment closes. The rule declarations and judgment records in your repositories remain as they are — they are not in a place the Company could take or delete (Terms, Article 7 ④).
Addendum
This policy (version 1.1.0) takes effect on 28 October 2026.
This version was published on 28 October 2026 — for this version the publication date and the effective date are the same day.
What changed from the previous version: section 2 now states the consequence that a full refund ends the subscription. The previous version stated only the amount refunded and not what happens to the subscription, so it could be read as leaving the subscription alive after the whole payment had been returned. This is not a change that disadvantages the customer, so it takes effect on the same day it is published.
